It would be useful if Shopify custom meta fields could be available for vendors to edit when uploading new products to their accounts.

Product metafields now available. You can simply select which ones you would like your vendors to be able to update.

Simply go to Settings -> Products -> Enable metafields and select options.

This would be an excellent feature! Currently we have to copy paste a lot of information from desrciption field into Shopify metafields. This feature would streamline our work a lot!

I have to second this idea,
This will immensely help us merchants as we can build product templates with Metafields in the correct locations and when a vendor create their own product we can literally just do the final tweaks and make the product active on Shopify.
I can't wait for this feature to go live.
